Simplify...

Hello, all! It has been really busy at the Knight house lately with school, football games & fall shows/Christmas rapidly approaching. So busy that I'm finding it really difficult to keep an updated blog. It is time to simplify. I think, for now, that I am going to be primarily using my facebook page for all of my product updates and news. If you haven't liked my facebook page yet, hop on over and like Kim Knight Kreations. If you are ready to start your Christmas shopping, just let me know! You can visit my etsy store (I will be adding more products soon), or if you are local, I can meet up with you. :)

By the way, these key fobs would make excellent teacher gifts....

I hope to see you all on facebook!
Have a great day!
:)

Practice Run...

I had a new experience a couple of days ago. I was able to display my creations for two hours at a stop and shop. Although it stormed pretty bad, I made a few sells and overall I am happy. Being able to get all of my stuff there and set up was an important step for me. Now, I am excited about some shows that I plan to do in the fall...SOOO excited!!!! I will give you all of the details later so that you can come see me there!!! :)  Here was my little table...

The next picture is the happy bag that I made my niece! Love this bag!!!

Have a great day!!!

New Etsy Listings

Hello! It seems like I have been neglecting my poor little blog lately, but I have been busy, busy creating more canvas goodies!  I've listed more keychains & zipper pouches in my etsy store, so feel free to click here to go check them out! Here are a few pictures of some my favorite items.

I am still having so much fun creating this stuff! I would like to show you the fun tote that I made for my niece, Erin, but she hasn't seen it yet. SORRY, Erin! No sneak previews for you!!! :) This girl has been getting all kinds of tote orders for me & I am ever so thankful. You are the bomb, Erin Elizabeth!
I hope your day is fabulous!

My Many Colored Days...

"Some days are yellow, some days are blue, on different days I'm different, too...." This Dr. Seuss book was one my Matthew's favorites when he was a baby, and I think about it quite often when I create. I love, love, LOVE  being able to work with different colors everyday. I love being able to pick what colors I "feel" that particular day.  I think that it might be one of my favorite parts of the tote making process.  Pretty colors=happy Kim. :) For the most part, I like all colors. I have been very fortunate in my tote making journey to be able to use lots of different colors, so that my totes look unique. Here are 2 of my latest bags...

...Oh, what fun I had making these bags!!!! I like being able to work from home & be with my family at the same time. I love when my little guy decides to come sit with me and create things of his own. We have fabulous conversations & he always makes me laugh! I am so blessed to have such a great & supportive family!
Have a fantastic weekend!!!

Scenes from yesterday...

I love taking pictures at the state park.  Every time we go, there are different things to see.
Micah spotted this bug...

I love colorful weeds!

I guess someone's fishing adventure caught a snag...

We loved this turtle!

The details never cease to amaze me....

I hope you are enjoying the summer as much as we are!
Have a great weekend!

Flip-Flop Fun

I created something fun!
I enjoy the whole process...well, except putting gesso on the canvas. Unfortunately, prepping a canvas is a necessary evil!  I did not take pictures of the white canvas right after the gesso, but here it is after I had fun with colorful, happy paint!  *Notice my new flower stamps...I love carving stamps, but that is a story for another day!*

I put the fine details on next...(the picture is actually after the bag was sewn, but you get the idea)

...add a little protective coating..(once again no pictures of that necessary evil step either)...and voila! Fun flip-flop bag!!!

I wish I could keep this one!
Have a great day!
